James Halliday has awarded the 2012 Pondalowie Vineyard Blend 95 points and 5 stars, and will also feature it as one of his 'wines of the week'. Halliday wrote:
“A blend of shiraz, cabernet and tempranillo picked at the same time and co-fermented. The vivid purple-crimson colour sets the antennae waving, and not without reason: a totally delicious wine with a sparkling stream, of brilliantly flavoured red (dominant) and black fruits, the tannins with a most unusual, but delicious, sheen to their flavour and texture. Outstanding value.”
It really is excellent value! A 95 point wine available on our wine list for $42!
Roasted 7 score 'Everything Wagyu' rump cap for two. Served with cauliflower gratin, duck fat roasted potatoes, green beans and shallot jus gras
